Earthworks operates completely in AutoCAD, so users can compare twosurfaces, such as existing and finished ground, to obtain the cut andfill volumes. Accuracy of volume calculations is based on user-definedgrid spacing. Full and partial site analysis provide the ability todetermine the volumes for an entire site or just a portion of the site.Proposed surface generation from contours allows the drawing of finishedground by entering it with AutoCAD. Grading macros and report generationare included.
